In part 4, we go to Genesis 2:18 where we learn that the institution of marriage was given to us by God to complete us. No matter what the culture tries to define or re-define, we cannot improve on the finished work of the Cross. So when man's "rib is missing", what can he do to find her? The answer is to (1) rest and take a nap, (2) wait until you "see her" and (3) when you do receive her, honor her and the Father and allow Him to bring her to you; do not dishonor her or her father by taking what is not yours to take before marriage.
In week 3 of our Family series, we learn that in every home, our roots determine our fruits. Home is to be a place where work is shared and care is given. A place of freedom and expression of self; of who we are and how uniquely God made us, knowing also that surrounding that freedom are boundaries and consequences to actions.
In Part 2 of our Family series, we ask the question, "Why did God give us worth, dignity, value and a sense of purpose?" Genesis 1:26-28 tells us that we were created by God to be blessed; to daily experience and enjoy the intimate hand of God embracing us and hearing Him say, "Son/daughter, come dance with me..."
